Have you ever met this one person you wish to be? That one person that made you want to lose weight, get healthier, learn something new, be more educated about a subject or more successful in your work? That one person you envy, you stalked on Facebook or Instagram to check their latest post and end up criticising it based on pure jealousy?
Don't lie to me, we all do. Even that one person you look up to has someone else she/he wishes to become one day. It is in our nature. We all want what we don't have, thinking that when we get there, we will finally be happy.
Well, this path you are on is endless, you will always want more. It could be a wonderful thing if you really concentrate on becoming a better person and not seek what others might have. If you turn this desire into a journey to self improvement, then you might truly become the best you can be.
I have been absent from the blogging world for a little while because I needed to readjust myself and start my own journey. I had a lot thinking done about where I want to be in a few years, what I want out of life. I believe you can be anything you want if you have the right mindset and you are willing to put hard work into it. I want to share my journey with you and help you become the person you are truly meant to be.
Before posting anything more, I want you to grab a paper and a pen, and write down everything you would like to be. It doesn't have to be big life changes, it could also include tiny little things that you might think is insignificant, but just write it down anyways.
My list included:
- I want to be healthier
- I want to workout
- I want to be well read
- I want to be able to walk in heels all day
- I want to have a successful career in fashion
Well you get the idea. This is your first step to your own journey to self improvement.
